Insights On Nestlé UK’s Chocolate Market

A recent report on Nestlé's chocolate and confectionery products has revealed intriguing insights into the UK's sweet preferences.

Quality Street is the clear winner, with an impressive 33,100 monthly searches. This classic assortment of decadent chocolates and creamy fillings has been a long-standing favourite since its launch. It continues offering a range of flavours that satisfy any sweet craving.

Munchies, launched in 1957, took second place with 27,100 monthly searches. They offer a blend of crunchy biscuit and chewy caramel that sets it apart from the rest.

KitKat comes in third with 22,200 monthly searches. The chocolate bar, called initially the 'Rowntree's Chocolate Crisp' in 1935, is enjoyed by more than 1 billion people a year in the UK alone.

Evoking a feeling of nostalgia, the vibrant and colourful Smarties are in fourth place, with 14,800 monthly searches, while in fifth place, Yorkie has 14,800 monthly searches, which, despite its controversial £3m advertising campaign in 2001 of 'It's not for girls', is still loved by many.

The report was prepared by Lift Safe and Online Marketing Surgery, ranking the products based on their average monthly search volume in the UK.
