Vegan burger held by two hands

Nestle is set to launch its plant-based Harvest Gourmet Incredible Burger in Australian supermarkets. Made with soy and wheat protein, the ‘meat-free’ burger patties are the company’s response to the growing number of Australian consumers following a flexitarian diet or are reducing meat intake.

“These new burgers don’t compromise on flavour, texture or cooking experience,” said Tracy Hardwich, head of marketing foods for Nestle. “They underline Nestlé’s increased focus on tasty, authentic plant-based food. We believe this trend is here to stay, as consumers look at different ways to enjoy and balance their protein intake and eat more meat-free meals.”
