USA supermarket Schnucks Markets Inc. has introduced a scheduling app for employees to view and claim open shifts. The ‘Schnucks Flexforce’ system has pay starting at $12.85 an hour and is reserved for employees at least 18 years old.
“At Schnucks, a primary goal is to position our employees for success, and we are excited to offer this new opportunity to both our current and prospective teammates. Much like rideshare and food delivery service employees, Flexforce employees will be able to seek and claim shifts at the time and location of their choosing,” said Laura Freeman, Chief People Officer.
Employees need to log into the app to access schedules and can opt-in to receive notifications of open shifts.
Schnucks is a St. Louis, Missouri-based grocer.
