ALDI UK

UK | Aldi has been recognised as the UK's cheapest supermarket, according to the latest monthly Cheapest Supermarket price comparison conducted by consumer group Which?.

The study, covering November, compared the cost of a basket of items, including groceries and household essentials. Aldi emerged as the most cost-effective option, being £20.62 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose, for an equivalent basket of items.

The results also revealed that Aldi was £12.77 cheaper than Morrisons and £11.02 cheaper than Sainsbury's per basket.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, said she was happy with the acknowledgment and highlighted Aldi's commitment to high-quality food at low prices daily. Aldi was also recognised by Which? as the cheapest supermarket for buying a Christmas dinner this festive season, offering cost savings for all.
