Businesses Adapt Post Pandemic

Three key takeaways from a survey by Longitude on business post-pandemic suggested that organisations are bouncing back, uncertainty is leading to inertia, and there is a gap between intent and execution.

Business leaders have reported optimism; 73 percent said their business has become more adaptable to new technologies, 69 percent said decisions were being made quicker, 68 percent said there was a better development of empathy and trust between customers, and 66 percent said the same between employees.

However, while companies and their employees are learning to adapt to new working environments, 66 percent of respondents said the pandemic exposed weaknesses in their strategy, and 60 percent said they struggle to act in response to sudden market opportunities.

Around three-quarters of respondents said that improving customer experience was a priority for 2022.
