Chantal Organics, New Zealand’s award-winning purveyor of organic products, has relocated its Fresh Produce operations from Auckland to Napier.
Founded in Napier in 1978 as a co-operative of families sourcing organic and natural wholefoods, Chantal Organics has grown into an established brand with nationwide distribution, while maintaining its deep roots in Hawke’s Bay.
This move has brought this branch of the business back home to where it all began and marked a meaningful full-circle moment in the company’s journey; reconnecting its fresh produce operations with the region where it was first established.
The Hawke’s Bay, often referred to as the fruit bowl of New Zealand, is known for its fertile soils and sunny climate, making it one of the country’s most important regions for growing fruit and vegetables.
By moving closer to many of the organic growers Chantal Organics partners with, the company is not only strengthening those relationships but also positioning itself to grow its fresh produce offering throughout New Zealand.

Produce is packed to order and supplied to organic retailers, supermarkets, food box services, and hospitality businesses nationwide. Chantal Organics proudly works closely with growers to ensure consistent quality and freshness, while supporting sustainable and ethical farming practices.
The business has committed to ensuring a smooth transition following its relocation of its organic produce distribution operations back to Napier.
