Mac's is launching Big Dipper, a limited-release White IPA that's one heck of a ride!
Combining the best of two classic beer styles, Mac's Big Dipper brings together the hop-character of an Indian Pale Ale and the light body and spice of a classic Belgian wheat beer. The beer pours a light golden straw colour, with a hazy appearance and a fluffy white head of foam and has the yeasty spice profile of Belgian Wits along with the citrusy and slightly resinous aromatic hop profile of an American IPA. More towards teh savour end of the Mac's flavour scale, this is a fairly dry beer with medium hop bitterness and a crisp finish, making for an interesting beer that's surprisingly sessionable.
