FOOD AND HOSPITALITY SCENE HEATING UP FOR FHA2016

To be held from 12 to 15 April at the Singapore Expo, FHA2016 (Food&HotelAsia2016) will bring more than 300 first-time exhibitors to the region’s outstanding food and hospitality trade show. The event will see the participation of new international pavilions and leading brands, eager to showcase a range of new products, ingredients, supplies and services. As a whole, the exhibition will cover an area of 100,500 sqm, hosting 3,350 exhibitors from 70 countries and 66 groups.

“For the 2016 event, we are seeing many new local and international companies joining us for the very first time,” said Ting Siew Miu, Project Director of Lifestyle Events at Singapore Exhibition Services, organiser of FHA. “This is a firm reflection of the importance the industry places in the event, and solidifies its position as the event of choice for food and hospitality players, from across the region and beyond.”

Key trends and issues affecting the food and hospitality industry will be thoroughly discussed, with a focus on commercial opportunities, eco-friendly design and food traceability, to name a few.
“The food and hospitality industry is evolving rapidly with changing consumer needs. Consumers today not only expect good service, they are also increasingly drawn to products derived from ethical, clean and safe manufacturing. We look forward to having meaningful discussions with participants,” said Ting.

At the core of FHA2016 will be the unveiling of ProWine Asia 2016, presenting an ideal opportunity for international winemakers to set foothold in Southeast Asia. An absolute first for the region, ProWine Asia will provide a business-promoting platform, modelled after the renowned wine and spirit trade fair ProWein in Dusseldorf.
