New World Halswell brand made-in-store bakery items have been recalled as they may contain foreign matter (metal).
The New World Halswell bakery products with the following date markings are affected by this recall:
- Red Velvet Cupcakes (6 PK): The 'Best Before' dates are 10.02.2026, 11.02.2026, 12.02.2026, 13.02.2026
- Carrot Muffins (6 PK): The 'Best Before' dates are 10.02.2026, 11.02.2026, 12.02.2026, 13.02.2026
- Carrot and Cream Cheese Icing Cake (various sizes): The 'Best Before' dates are 10.02.2026, 11.02.2026, 12.02.2026, 13.02.2026.
The products are packed in clear plastic. This recall does not affect any other made-in-store products. The products have not been exported.
Customers are asked to check the 'Best Before' date marks on the products.
Affected products should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated injury, but if they have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about their health, they should seek medical advice.
Customers should return the products to the store for a full refund.
