FREE HEALTH & SAFETY COURSE FOR FGC MEMBERS

As the health and safety law has changed, the Food & Grocery Council is now offering its members free health and safety training courses, in partnership with Competenz. Companies are invited to attend and gain extra skills and knowledge, including useful tools to adapt to the new rules. Each course is limited to 12 people on a first-in-first-served basis and divided into four modules. At completion, team leaders and staff will receive a National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Level 3.

“We strongly encourage members to take up this opportunity so that Health & Safety knowledge is updated,” said Katherine Rich, chief executive, FGC. “The package put together by Competenz to assist members is impressive and well worth the effort to be involved.”
Bookings are now open for Auckland CBD (scheduled on 21-22 July and 25-26 August) and Auckland Newmarket (26-27 July and 30-31 August).
