Countdown Vogeltown may finally have neighbours, with work underway for three new shops that are expected to be completed by mid-year. Although vendors were yet to be announced, developers said they were seeking to fill the spaces with a pharmacy, a hairdresser and a café operator.
Located in New Plymouth, the 2,400 sqm Vogeltown store was officially opened in June 2015 with 45 staff, bringing to over 700 the number of Countdown workers being employed across the Taranaki region.
