Major Retail Expansion For Aunty Jenny Spices

AUSTRALIA | Melbourne-based spice brand Aunty Jenny Spices has secured its largest retail expansion to date.

The rollout across independent grocers, including IGA and Ritchies, reflected growing demand for premium pantry products that deliver clear on-shelf differentiation, consistent performance and reliable supply at scale.

Aunty Jenny Spices has challenged traditional spice supply chains by sourcing directly from growers, reducing intermediaries and delivering fresher, traceable products to market.

This model provides greater quality control, supply consistency and transparency for retailers and shoppers alike.

The rollout followed a period of operational and retail readiness, preparing the business for consistent, scalable supply.

Founder Ramneek Wayne said the expansion demonstrates the importance of building strong commercial foundations before scaling.

“Independent grocers are highly discerning when it comes to product quality, consistency and supply reliability. They’re also price sensitive. The products each make four meals and have an RRP starting at AUD 2.60 to ensure they are easily accessible,” he said.

“This rollout reflects the confidence retailers have in our ability to deliver a differentiated range that performs on shelf, backed by robust systems and transparent sourcing.”

Aunty Jenny Spices’ range of handcrafted blends includes core SKUs such as Butter Chicken, Mild Curry, Garam Masala and Peri Peri Tandoori, developed through long-term grower partnerships and rigorous quality testing.

The range is now available in selected independent grocery stores, with further range extensions and in-store activity planned throughout 2026.
