Florette, the packaged salad brand from the UK, has partnered with the upcoming animated movie 'Minions: The Rise of Gru.' From the 16th of May, Minion characters will appear across packs of Florette salad, offering customers the chance to collect one of 20,000 Minion soft toys and win a family trip to Universal Studios in Orlando.
This promotion is part of a one million pound (Nearly 2million NZD) partnership deal between Universal and Florette. With Minions now a global phenomenon, the partnership is an opportunity for Florette to engage with customers by bringing some excitement to the fresh produce market. Participating salad bags include Florette Mixed, Classic Crispy, Baby Leaf Trio and Sweet & Crunchy.
The on-pack promotion is set to add excitement to the release of Minions: The Rise of Gru.' The film hits theatres in NZ on July 16.
