Fieldco Ltd is recalling a specific batch of its The Original brand Kumara Chips Smoked Paprika + Onion, due to the possible presence of an undeclared allergen tree nut (cashew).
People with a tree nut (cashew) allergy should not consume this product. Fieldco Ltd said that if anyone has consumed any of this product and has any concerns about their health, they should seek medical advice. If consumers are not allergic to tree nuts (cashew), this recall will not affect them.
The product is packaged in a 100g foil bag. The affected date marking was best before 30/05/2024.
This product is primarily sold in the Auckland region, as well as online retailers. This product has not been exported.
Retailers of the products in this recall must download a copy of the point of sale notice and display it in-store for one month. This recall does not affect any other The Original Brand products.
Customers with a tree nut (cashew) allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
