A renowned Kiwi-favourite brand has partnered with a Kiwi social media foodie, who will be the brand's ambassador in New Zealand. 

Continental has announced that Polly Markus, from Miss Polly’s Kitchen, is the New Zealand brand ambassador for its Sensations Stock Pots, following in the footsteps of fellow market ambassadors Khanh Ong and the Hairy Bikers. 

Continental saw the value of working with a well-trusted local ambassador, like Markus, to demonstrate Sensations Stock Pots' flavour, convenience and versatility with Kiwis through relevant content and recipe inspiration.  

Sensations Stock Pots real concentrated stock designed for all cooks who want to elevate their meals conveniently. It comes in four versatile flavours, including beef, vegetable, chicken and chicken salt-reduced, to add an explosion of taste to any meal. 

Continental has been the staple brand in everyone’s kitchens since 1951, and as the new face of Sensations Stock Pots, Markus promises to shake up the preconceived notions of stock. Markus and Continental aim to highlight the versatility of the Stock Pots Sensations, which can be used in everything from lasagna to soup to roast vegetables to add flavour to everyday moments. 

“One of my three cooking rules is ‘flavour, flavour, flavour’, and incorporating Continental Sensations Stock Pots in a dish is such an effortless way to add an explosion of taste,” said Markus.

Published cookbook author Markus uses her popular Instagram page, which has over 57,000 followers, to share her delicious, vibrant meals and inspire her audience to get busy. 

Her formative experience as a chef on a European superyacht has enabled her to experiment with getting creative in the kitchen, reflected in her simple, delicious, flavourful recipes. 

Markus’ Instagram page skyrocketed in popularity during the pandemic lockdowns. While everyone was at home having a crack at cooking something new, Markus’ recipes became a guiding light.

Markus and Continental are passionate about food’s ability to bring people together to create and spark memories.  

“My favourite thing about cooking is that it always finds a way to bring people together through memories, sharing recipes, entertaining at home, or attending a dinner party. Food is the main character. It is a simple way to get together, to build and maintain connections.” 

Markus is aligned with Continental’s philosophy that every dish should be packed with great flavour and ingredients, striving beyond mediocrity. 

As the new ambassador, Markus will be focused on communicating how to use Sensations Stock Pots to make any meal explode in taste. As part of this, she will feature in an OOH campaign, with videos and stills across multiple channels where she will create and share recipes to showcase how she uses Sensations Stock Pots in her dishes. 

Continental’s Marketing Manager ANZ, Monique Fehon, shared that it was great to align with someone like Polly, who shared the brand’s values and outlook on food and flavour. 

“We want to show Kiwis how easy it is to add flavour and how easy it is to cook their favourite restaurant meal at home, using Continental Sensations Stock Pots,” said Fehon.
