Award-winning Telegraph Hill joins Goodfood Group family

From one family to another, Hawke’s Bay-based, family-owned New Zealand olive business Telegraph Hill will get a new lease of life when it becomes part of Goodfood Group.

Telegraph Hill’s award-winning stable of small-batch oils, drizzles, vinaigrettes and New Zealand olives make it a natural fit for Goodfood Group, a company passionate about bringing the world’s finest food products to New Zealand’s tables.

As a family-run business with a longstanding commitment to excellence, food importers and distributors Goodfood Group specialise in sourcing premium-quality items from across the globe. Adding local brand Telegraph Hill to its roster further enhances its growing portfolio of quality food products.

“We are thrilled to have Telegraph Hill become the newest addition to our family. As a company, our focus has always been on quality products and that is what attracted us to the brand,” said Mark Prenter, CEO of Goodfood Group.

“We are looking forward to expanding the range even further and introducing more Kiwi households to Telegraph Hill, helping to elevate their meals with the best ingredients.”

Founded in Hawke’s Bay in 2001 by Geoff Crawford, Telegraph Hill has been awarded 107 awards since 2002, with its most recent winning Best in Show at the New Zealand Extra Virgin Olive Oil awards in October 2024.

Over this time, the brand has become recognised for its premium-quality products designed to improve life.

Goodfood Group has big plans for the range, bringing restaurant-quality products to homes nationwide with a focus on taste above all else. The company will take over ownership on the 3rd of March with a new look and new products launching in July 2025.
