As Minecraft Cubeez stack up in Kiwis’ shopping trolleys, Woolworths New Zealand has brought the popular game to life in a deliciously fun way.
The Cubeez Sandwich Station will be popping up in Auckland for two days only. It will offer gaming fans of all ages the chance to experience the Minecraft universe through Minecraft-inspired cubed sandwiches.
Teaming up with Minecraft, Woolworths has launched its exclusive Minecraft Cubeez, free for every NZD 30 spent in a single eligible transaction in-store or online at Woolworths Supermarkets, MILKRUN, and Metro stores.
The food truck promised a block-busting snacking experience. It will offer keen collectors free sandwiches inspired by Minecraft Cubeez. The menu is as creative as the game itself.
Blending iconic Minecraft foods with real-world ingredients, guests can choose from a “Cooked Chicken” sandwich, a sweet and wobbly “Slimes Jelly Delight,” or a honey-glazed ham “Golden Apple Treat” pairing. For those who want a bit of a kick, snare a sweet chili sausage and bacon “Fiery Piglin Stack.”
Crafted with the best Woolworths range and fresh seasonal produce, the Cubeez Sandwich Station will serve a tasty, nutritious twist on your favourite flavours.
“Our Minecraft Cubeez have given Kiwis a real taste of the legendary world of Minecraft, and now the Cubeez Sandwich Station offers something they can really sink their teeth into,” said Woolworths New Zealand’s Director of Brand, Bríd Drohan-Stewart.
“It’s the perfect blend of creativity, food and fun and another great opportunity for families and gaming enthusiasts alike to get hands-on with the game they love.”
The Cubeez Sandwich Station will take customers on an epic, edible adventure as Minecraft’s fandom has continued to grow with the highly anticipated April 2025 release of the movie filmed in New Zealand.
