AUSTRALIA | To celebrate the launch of the limited-edition choc bar Milkybar Biscoff, Watsons Bay Milk Bar, one of Sydney’s few remaining milk bars, has created treats inspired by the iconic flavour combination.
The new Milkybar Biscoff bar has combined the iconic creamy, white chocolate of Milkybar with the crunchy caramelised biscuit of Lotus Biscoff, creating a cool twist on two old favourites.
Sydney residents have been invited to Watsons Bay Milk Bar tomorrow, the 1st of August when it will be transformed into The Milky Biscoff Bar. The first 400 guests will enjoy a free specially crafted menu inspired by the new chocolate bar, and the first 1,000 guests will receive the MilkyBar Biscoff bar.
The Milky Biscoff Bar menu includes a milkshake, stuffed croissant, and hot chocolate.
The Milkybar Biscoff Milkshake will be a delightful blend of creamy Milkybar and rich Biscoff crumble, topped with a dollop of ice cream. The Milkybar Biscoff Stuffed Croissant, drizzled with Milkybar Biscoff sauce, is a creamy wonder bursting with rich flavour. The outside offers a crispy crunch, while the inside reveals a creamy Milkybar Biscoff surprise.
The hot chocolate is a rich, frothy blend of Biscoff and Milkybar. The coarse crumble on top adds a delicious surprise, while a hint of caramel evokes a wintry Christmas feel.
"Working with Milkybar Biscoff flavours to design this exclusive menu inspired me of the old bottles of milk and creamy milkshakes we used to ask mum for. The Milkybar Biscoff Milkshake is our spin on a traditional favourite, creamy with subtle caramel hints that will take you back to childhood,” said Watsons Bay Milk Bar owner Georgina Brujic.
“The new Milkybar Biscoff chocolate bar is a collaboration of two iconic and nostalgic brands—white chocolate lovers will love it,” said Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionery Melanie Chen.
“Growing up, many Aussies fondly remember visiting their local milk bar, a fun and joyful experience to share treats – so what better way to celebrate this flavour collaboration than by recreating a bit of milk bar nostalgia.”
The new Milkybar Biscoff bar will be available from early August.
