Formed in 2009 by two friends, Greg Boyle and Wayne Hitchman, with over 40 years’ experience in the UK food & drink industry, Happy Monkey was established with a firm commitment to provide both delicious and healthy drinks for children of all ages. From multi-award-winning smoothies, made using 100 per cent pure fruit and vegetables, containing no added sugar that count as one of your five-a-day, to school approved milkshakes Happy Monkey are the perfect way for parents to give their kids great tasting drinks with goodness thrown in.

“Fruit is vitally important to us, which is why we insist on sourcing it in a responsible way,” said Simon from Happy Monkey. “All of our bananas come from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms so are produced in a way that doesn't harm the environment and that rewards the people who grow them. That might mean we pay a little extra for our bananas but we believe it's the right and fair way to do things.”

“The first product we launched were the smoothies with just two flavours available. With no added bits or sugar Happy Monkey Smoothies are the perfect way for children to get one of their 5 a day. Now available in five mouth-watering flavours our smoothies are made using 100% pure fruit and vegetables free from sweeteners and preservatives. Sold in boxes of four they’re designed to fit snugly inside your child’s lunchbox and be taken on days out.”

“In total, with the addition of milkshakes and fruit splashies, we have a total of nine different products with plans to roll out more in the near future. We export to markets in the Middle East, China and Australia.”

“Our products are available at the leading UK supermarkets – Tesco, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado, Iceland - and in all JD Wetherspoon pubs as part of the children's meal deal.”

“In terms of sales Happy Monkey are second only to Innocent in the highly-competitive UK children's smoothie drink market. We have also won numerous awards including the prestigious Loved by Parents Best Children's Drink award for three consecutive years.”
