The Fiji Trade & Investment Office - Fiji High Commission New Zealand has partnered with six Fijian exporters to participate in the highly anticipated Auckland Food Show 2026.

More than just an exhibition, the show is a celebration of cultural exchange, entrepreneurial spirit, and the enduring bond between Fiji and New Zealand.

Over the course of the event,  Fijian exporters will engage with leading New Zealand retailers, distributors, and food enthusiasts, showcasing not only their products but also the stories, values, and craftsmanship behind each brand.

The Fiji Trade & Investment Office New Zealand, with its commitment to fostering robust economic ties between Fiji and New Zealand, has worked closely with each brand, ensuring their offerings are not only innovative but are also aligned with the quality and diversity sought by discerning New Zealand consumers and the vibrant Pasifika community.

  • Garri Fiji Pte Ltd – Celebrated for its authentic Fijian staples, Garri Fiji brings the rich flavours of traditional root crops (cassava flakes) and culinary essentials, sharing a taste of the islands with every bite.
  • Pacific Fishing Company Pte Limited (PAFCO) – Renowned across the Pacific for its sustainable seafood, PAFCO delivers a premium variety of tunas harvested responsibly from Fiji’s pristine waters.
  • The Calmer Co (Fiji Kava) – An international leader in kava-based wellness products, The Calmer Co introduces New Zealand consumers to the calming traditions of Fiji’s noble kava beverage, a staple of cultural and social gatherings in the islands.
  • Farmboy – Dedicated to sustainable agriculture, Farmboy offers a range of sauces, pickles, spices and value-added goods, connecting Fiji’s fertile lands directly to Kiwi consumers and retailers.
  • Fiji Fire – Spicing up the tradeshow, Fiji Fire crafts premium hot sauces made from hand-picked Bongo chillies, blending fiery heat with the tropical essence of Fijian ingredients.
  • Ashon Ventures – A pioneer in Fijian exports, Ashon Ventures specialises in a diverse portfolio of food and beverage products, each thoughtfully curated to reflect Fiji’s heritage and contemporary tastes.

The Fiji Trade & Investment Office was particularly enthusiastic about the potential to expand market presence for Fijian products, aiming to generate meaningful connections and secure lasting partnerships within New Zealand’s thriving food sector.

With a substantial Pasifika diaspora residing in New Zealand, the Fiji Booth will also serve as both a homecoming and a bridge, inviting Kiwis of all backgrounds to immerse themselves in the authentic flavours and warm hospitality for which Fiji is renowned.

Through live demonstrations, tastings, and interactive presentations, visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience Fiji’s culinary artistry firsthand. Held at the ASB Showgrounds from the 23rd to the 26th of July, the Auckland Food Show 2026 has promised four days of culinary discovery and business opportunities.
