As busy calendars make catching up harder, new research by Coles revealed that Australians have been craving spontaneous get-togethers, with a third wanting to be more spontaneous this summer, including hosting or attending last-minute dinner parties.
While the appetite is there, the reality tells a different story, with just 30 percent of Australians hosting a last-minute dinner party across August.
Coles Ambassador and Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone said memory-making entertaining does not need to be perfectly planned.
I love a beautiful dinner party, but some of my favourite meals are the ones that come together on the fly. Good food, a few people you love and a relaxed table are really all you need.
Stone designed the new collection to make preparing, cooking and serving food for family and friends feel simple.
