Plant-based fries just got a whole lot tastier. Morningstar Farms, a pioneer of plant-based foods, and Pringles, a connoisseur in scrumptious flavour, have collaborated to create a first-of-its-kind ‘chicken’ fries.
The fries are made with 100 percent plant protein and contain 41 percent less fat than leading USA homestyle chicken fries. The chips are available in two Pringles flavours, Original and Scorchin’ Cheddar Cheese. With Morningstar’s juicy chik’n on the inside and either savoury or smokey Pringles flavour, these chips will make for a perfect snack.
"Given our mission to bring more people into the plant-based protein space, partnering with Pringles seemed like the perfect next step in plant-based innovation for MorningStar Farms," said Kellogg’s Marketing Director, Danielle Rappoport.
Both flavours of Morningstar Chik’n fries will be available for purchase in stores throughout the USA this year, with Pringles Original flavour expected to be on shelves as early as March 2023.
