Low-Calorie Ice Creams Continue To Gain Popularity

The battle of the low-cal ice creams is on as Ben & Jerry’s expand its Moophoria range to compete with Halo Top. The two new variants contain just 129 calories per 100ml and 50 percent less fat than regular ice creams. Sweetened with glucose syrup and dextrose, the new additions include; Salted Carmel Brownie and Chocolate Cookies and Cream.

The announcement is no surprise considering that 2018 was a prosperous year for low-calorie ice creams. Halo Top was launched into the New Zealand and Australian market early last year and instantly caused a stir in the frozen aisle.
