Having launched with success in Shanghai in 2013 (ProWine China) and Singapore earlier this year (ProWine Asia), the ProWine brand is now ready to hold its first Hong Kong trade show in 2017, which will alternate with Singapore on a bi-annual basis.
As the latest addition to ProWein World series of international trade fairs for wines and spirits, ProWine Asia in Singapore and Hong Kong complement the annual ProWine China. The Hong Kong fair will be held between May 8 and 11 next year, followed by Singapore in 2018, from April 24 to 27.
According to Hans Werner Reinhard, managing director of ProWein’s organiser Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, extending ProWine Asia to Hong Kong was a ‘logical consequence’ of the event’s success in Singapore.
“The annual scheduling in combination with the alternating venue has immense potential. At the same time, we provide the sector with the perfect date with ProWine Asia being held in the first half of the year,” he said. “With these strong cornerstones, we offer all internationally operating producers an all-round carefree package for the entire Asian continent.”
