For 25 years, ‘singing trolley assistant’ Pat Biggs has been serenading Waitrose customers in Southampton, UK, with her favourite tunes being Christmas Carols and Abba’s hits. Both shoppers and staff have now decided to publicly celebrate her long service with gifts and flowers. Hearing Pat Biggs sing was also featured in a list of the ‘top things’ to do in Southampton, and customers have even set up a fan page called ‘The Lady Who Sings in Waitrose’.
