YO! Sushi Sees Success with Supermarket Kiosks

Snowfox has reported record sales of 197.3 million pounds contributed to by diversified market routes - specifically kiosks. The Group has business across the UK, USA and Canada, selling over 60 million sushi trays last year.

The USA and Canada sectors recorded a sales increase of 33 percent in franchised kiosks. At the same time, the Group's corporate-owned kiosks in the UK and Canada saw a rise of 25 percent.

"Looking ahead, I am confident in the future growth opportunities for the Group – across kiosks, pre-packaged and restaurants," said Richard Hodgson, Chief Executive of Snowfox Group.

124 Sushi Kiosks and 76 sites in Tesco and Asda Supermarkets were opened for the first seven months of trading this year.

The Group has 2,300 chef-operated kiosks globally and eight factories that provide pre-made sushi to nearly 6,000 locations (Most notably grocers).

"We are a clear leader within a large and growing market, and we are ideally placed to respond to those prevailing consumer trends which are driving the appeal of sushi – namely health, convenience, and the growing adoption of international cuisine."
