Artisan Celebrates New Milestone

New Zealand premium cookie label Molly Woppy has celebrated a new milestone by announcing the launch of its range in selected Woolworths stores. This milestone marks a significant development for the local artisan.

The range will be available in Woolworths across New Zealand, marking a key milestone and reinforcing the company's presence in the competitive food and beverage industry.

The range features seven new flavours: Cranberry Dark Choccy Chunk, Peanut Butter Choc Chunk, Zingy Ginger Delight, Gingerbread Kids, Gluten-Free and Plant-Based Choccy Coconut Ruff, Gluten-Free Milk Choccy Chunk, and Gluten-Free Sticky Date Walnut & Chia.

Each flavour was meticulously handcrafted with the finest local ingredients, including New Zealand butter and free-range eggs. This aligns with the company's commitment to sourcing local, quality ingredients.

"We are thrilled to introduce our delicious artisan cookies to Woolworths customers, offering them a taste of New Zealand's finest ingredients and baking traditions," said Hayley Molloy, founder of Molly Woppy.

"Our collaboration with Woolworths is a monumental step in our mission to share the joy of our exceptional New Zealand-made cookies with a broader audience."

"Every scrumptious cookie we create is a product of our dedication to excellence and a testament to our craft."

The Kiwi-run family business has been handcrafting cookies since its inception in 2002, earning significant recognition in the food industry. They have gone from operating a small bakery in west Auckland to a fully functioning factory.

Molly Woppy has won many accolades for its standout products, including its multi-award-winning zingy ginger delight. In 2023, the Gluten-Free and Plant-Based Choccy Coconut Ruff won silver in the Inspire + NZ Artisan Awards.

The team behind Molly Woppy has received praise for becoming more sustainable. Its packaging is printed on cards sourced from sustainably managed and certified forests and printed using vegetable-based ink. Molly Woppy also regularly supports the local Vision West Pataka Kai and the team at RMHC New Zealand.
