Takapuna’s Shore City Shopping Centre will be getting a boutique New World supermarket. The new supermarket will be one of the main drawcards to the new shopping centre which has undergone a substantial refresh both internally and externally over the past two years.
The supermarket will be situated on the ground floor of Shore City conveniently located adjacent to the Food Gallery and entrance to the multi-deck undercover carpark. The store will also be one of the first to open under a new design concept drawing themes from an open marketplace atmosphere with the use of natural materials and a focus on freshness and vibrancy.
Foodstuffs North Island Head of Property Investment, Nick Hanson said that Foodstuffs is always keen to expand its presence in local communities and invest in a supermarket that its customers can be proud of. “We look forward to the store meeting all of our customers’ fresh food and grocery needs in a modern, easy to shop and convenient environment.”
Shore City Centre manager, Jan Walker said the boutique experience will bring to the Centre, aligns perfectly with Shore City’s aim to provide a first-class shopping experience to Takapuna. “We are always looking at ways we can improve our shopping experience and we are thrilled to have a draw card retailer like New World joining our other quality brands like Farmers, Les Mills, Life Pharmacy and County Road to name just a few,” explained Walker.
