Countdown Alexandra has recalled specific batches of its Countdown brand baked in-store bakery items due to the possible presence of foreign matter (metal fragments).
This includes an extensive range of baked goods purchased between the 2nd to the 4th of May. The complete list can be located here.
Customers are encouraged to check the date they purchased these products and are advised not to consume them. While there have been no reports of related injury, customers who have consumed any of the included products and have concerns about their health are advised to seek medical advice.
All affected purchased items can be returned to the retailer for a full refund.
