HOUSE OF DUMPLINGS – WHOLESOME FOOD IN A HURRY

Your store freezer could hold the key to one of life’s greatest questions - 'What’s for dinner?' Finally consumers can have wholesome food in a hurry thanks to House of Dumplings. These splendiferous parcels of perfection are pre-steamed so you can pan fry them in just five minutes. They’re all-natural, free-range, additive free, MSG free and ethically produced.

House of Dumplings wanted to make the kind of dumplings that the team had as kids. Before they were mass produced, dulled down and filled with preservatives and numbers instead of real ingredients.

The brand started out small using recipes and techniques passed down from generations of master dumpling makers.

"We made a commitment to source only the freshest NZ ingredients – ethically produced and as local as possible," said founder Vicky Ha.

"Take our flour for example; it’s milled right here in Wellington. Our veggies are from Levin, the cold-pressed oil we cook with comes from Canterbury. We like to deal direct with farmers and only use free-range and ethically produced meat – pork from LongBush in the Wairarapa, chicken from Bostocks and beef from Taupo."

With an eye to the environment the brand compost all its scraps, recycle and use biodegradable packaging. It’s not always the easy way, but it’s the right way. Because House of Dumplings believe food should not only taste amazing, it should feel good too.

House of Dumplings has become a household name.

"As we’ve grown we’ve brought on more people and upgraded our equipment but whatever happens, we’ll never cut corners. Everything’s still made from scratch – that’s how we ensure our dumplings are wholesome, delicious, and good in every way."

RRP $10.99.
