Venerdi Limited has initiated a consumer-level recall of specific batches of its Gluten Freedom brand Broken Black Rice & Polenta Sourdough (550g) due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (sesame).
People with a sesame allergy should not consume these products. If these products have been consumed, and customers have any concerns about their health, they are encouraged to seek medical advice. If individuals are not allergic to sesame, this recall does not affect them.
The batch recalled has the best-before dates of the 3rd of August, the 7th of August, and the 8th of August. Customers are asked to check the date marking on the packaging, and if they have any of the above dates, consumers can return these products to their retailer for a refund.
