SHOPPERS TO EARN AIRPOINTS DOLLARS

Foodstuffs NZ, along with Z Energy and Mercury, has teamed up with the Air New Zealand’s Airpoints programme. By the end of the year, Foodstuffs’ customers will be able to earn Airpoints Dollars every time they shop at New World, Liquorland, Henry’s, Gilmours and Trents. The supermarket chain will also retain its participation in the Fly Buys programme.
“We know New World customers enjoy getting more out of life and love to travel, so this is great news,” said Chris Quin, chief executive of Foodstuffs North Island. “We are delighted with the agreement. Both Air New Zealand and New World are exciting New Zealand brands with many shared customers, so it makes complete sense for us to work together to reward them. This allows us to work more closely with the airline to further develop the New World Clubcard experience and continue to offer our customers the choice of two of the strongest loyalty programs in the New Zealand market, Airpoints and Fly Buys.”
The Airpoints programme accounts for over 2.1 million members, and involves more than 50 businesses and 140 online partners through the Airpoints Mall. New partnerships will be announced in the coming months.
