Last summer Nice Blocks and The Starship Foundation went on a mission to raise funds for a little-known charity that supports women receiving cancer treatments and have succeeded, announcing that together they have raised $10,000. Ovarian Tissue Cryopreservation is the only way of preserving fertility for prepubertal and young adolescent girls who are at risk of infertility related to cancer treatment.
With the help of Ruby Seeto, an ex-Starship patient and cancer saviour, Nice blocks created a watermelon lime ice block that was sold through New World supermarkets and cafes to raise the funds for the treatments.
