This year The Grocery Charity Ball raised over $225,000 for the foundation, Big Buddy. The charity supports fatherless boys by offering mentoring programmes to them. The annual ball has become a premier event for the industry since being first established in 2004 and continues to raise funds for charitable trust across the country. 2019 will see The Grocery Charity Ball raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) NZ. The event will be held at SKYCITY on Saturday 14 September.
