Powerade welcomes TJ Perenara

Thomas ‘TJ’ Perenara, halfback for the All Blacks and the Hurricanes joins Powerade’s impressive list of ambassadors. Additionally, Perenara will also be a part of Powerade’s Always Forward campaign that aims to encourage athletes to persevere through adversity and strive on through setbacks. Perenara will also participate in an interactive running challenge designed for both professional athletes and casual athletes alike.

Perenara says that he is “stoked” to join the Powerade team of ambassadors alongside some of New Zealand’s other elite athletes including Steven Adams, Sophie Pascoe, Kane Williamson and Israel Dagg.

“On the field or the track, wherever you choose to train or play, you want to perform at your best. Whether the game is played in the heat or the pouring rain, it’s important to have the hydration necessary for a strong performance and recovery. That’s why I am excited to come on board with Powerade,” said Perenara.

Jodie Timmins, Powerade brand manager, said, “We are thrilled to have TJ join our team of high performing brand ambassadors. We know that New Zealand athletes are some of the most competitive in the world and are always working to improve their games. Powerade is designed to be in balance with your body’s fluid, giving high-performance athletes hydration and energy when they need it most.”
