Return of Christmas in the Park

After being postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid restrictions, Coca-Cola’s Christmas in the Park returns this year. The free annual community event has been held since 1994 and provides an evening of music, fireworks and festive energy. It will be held in Christchurch at Hagley Park on November 26, and at the Auckland Domain on December 10.

“As the country’s largest free public event, Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park is one of the happiest nights on Kiwi’s calendars. We are thrilled to be able to provide this special gift to the community and see it as our responsibility to contribute to the communities we live and work in. The essence of Christmas is about spending time with your family and your loved ones and that’s exactly what this event provides Kiwis,” said Julie O’Toole, Country Lead at Coca-Cola Oceania.

“Supporting our local communities is a central part of our work and we’re keenly involved with grassroots and larger-scale philanthropic and our annual Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park community event, this year taking place in Auckland and Christchurch, is a part of that,” said Chris Litchfield, Managing director of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners NZ (CCEP NZ).

“The free musical extravaganza of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park will provide a magical experience for thousands of families in New Zealand, as well as raise money for our key charity partner Youthline.”

All proceeds collected from this year's concerts will go directly to Youthline.
