The leading Netherlands packaging trade show, Empack 2024, was a great success due to innovative exhibitors who presented industry-changing packaging solutions.
The three-day event featured filing machines, label technology, packaging solutions and automation processes designed to make things easier.
One of the most insightful exhibitors was Mosca, a high-quality strapping machine and materials company. It showcased its Sonix M-RI machine, specifically designed for long products that must be strapped in several positions.
Jeroen Bax, the regional director for Benelux at Mosca, discussed how the Sonix M-RI is extremely fast, environmentally friendly and reliable. The machine had a variety of strap sizes, meaning it could hold all kinds of stock in place during transit.
Mosca also presented its RO-M Fusion strapping machine, a German step-in machine with five, eight and twelve millimetre PP straps.
Both machines fit a variety of industries but were specifically designed for the graphical and food transportation industry.
Bax stated that customers could use the machines to strap large boxes or other smaller products, such as food products or pharmaceuticals.
Another stand-out exhibition came from Smart Robotics, where they debuted its Smart Palletizer.
The Smart Palletizer uses AI to stack pallets while making solutions and automating logistic flow.
Jonathan Kruisselbring, CEO of Smart Robotics, discussed the product's wide range and the benefits it would provide customers.
This new technology is considered competent due to its integrated software and intensive knowledge of different product groups.
Alongside this, the product gripper specialises in handling a wide range of shapes while optimising the customer's glow.
Efficiency, decreased labour, and environmentally stable working conditions were highlighted throughout Empack 2024, with most innovations presented following these trends.
