Mentos has launched an international ‘Mentos Say Hi’ campaign that will see limited edition rolls of Mentos printed with 20 various emojis, specially designed to encourage people to make more fresh, in-person connections.
Media supporting the campaign includes digital outdoor panels designed by JCDecaux. Product sampling will be offered in various cities around Australia and consumers will have the opportunity to have their picture taken while imitating the emoticons. The images will then instantly feature on the digital panels.
“We’ve been talking with consumers for some time now about how Mentos can provide that little help to connect with someone new. The interactive digital panels give people an opportunity to build that connection in real time. Looking ahead to 2019, we’ll continue to explore how we use these more conversational channels to build our brand message with the consumer,” said Samantha Hansen, country manager, Perfetti Van Melle.
The ‘Say Hi’ Mentos are available in Fruit, Mint, Spearmint and limited-edition Lemon flavours.
