Supermarket Reopens in Kherson, Ukraine

ATB Ukraine supermarket in kherson

ATB Market reopened its doors to locals in the newly liberated city of Kherson on November 20. Residents queued for the first Ukrainian supermarket to open after almost nine months of Russian occupation, during which time forces only allowed Russian-sourced products in stores and introduced the Ruble.

Residents are still without electricity and running water, but relief was found knowing they could purchase Ukrainian favourites.

The retailer plans to open two more stores in the city and has resumed operations in over 100 stores across liberated Ukrainian territory.

We will remind that since the beginning of the full-scale military aggression on the territory of Ukraine, the ATB Corporation has provided Ukrainians with humanitarian aid worth over 200 million hryvnias. More than 300 tons of vital goods were collected and handed over to Ukrainian defenders in the last month as part of the nationwide program of food collection and humanitarian aid, which is implemented in every operating ATB store,” said the company in a statement.

“Since the beginning of the war, the entire large team of the ATB Corporation has been working in a reinforced mode 24/7. It does everything possible to provide the country's population with food and essential goods as much as possible.”
