A NEW Government led initiative to promote better digital security among Kiwis will launch next Monday the 16th June and run for a week. Connect Smart Week, formerly known as Cyber Security Awareness Week, is in partnership with the private and NGO sectors and will help New Zealanders learn how to protect themselves and their business online. Hosted by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, the launch coincides with a new Connect Smart website and will also reveal research on consumers’ behaviour around digital security.
