Foodstuffs North Island Celebrates Team Success

CEO of Foodstuffs North Island Chris Quin

In celebration of the incredible effort for recovery following the devastating effects of Cyclone Gabrielle and the damage caused to local communities, Foodstuffs North Island is excited to use its Annual Excellence Awards to acknowledge and thank its team.

As a longstanding event that the organisation has, the awards are an opportunity for Foodstuffs to recognise high-achieving graduates from their internal training programmes and to celebrate the winners of their various categorised competitions.

Leading categories for the competition are the much-anticipated Baker, Checker, and Machine Operator of the Year.

Chris Quin, Foodstuffs North Island CEO, has described the awards as an example of their organisation taking the time to show its appreciation and support of their hard-working staff.

“This event is always a highlight for me as I get to see the skills and talent of our teams get recognised and celebrated, as well as acknowledging the hard work, passion, and energy our people bring,” said Quin.

Other awards include Foodstuffs North Island (FSNI) Retail, Butcher, Baker, Apprentice of the Year, and several Value Awards Champion and Outstanding Participant awards for various categories.

“Our people are our business, and their success is our success, so to recognise the brilliant work they do across all aspects of the business, from our merchandisers to our butchers, is extremely special for everyone involved.”

The awards are on the 25th of February at the Cordis in Auckland.
