Pak’n Save Rangiora made-in-store Death by Chicken (burger) and Chicken Katsu Garden Salad have been recalled as the chicken may be undercooked.
Recalled on the 9th of June 2026, the Pak’n Save Rangiora made-in-store Death by Chicken (burger) and Chicken Katsu Garden Salad, both with the date marking “Packed On 08.06.26” and “Use By 11.06.26” are affected.
The Death by Chicken (burger) was sold in a paper tray covered by plastic film (1ea). The Chicken Katsu Garden Salad was sold in a clear plastic punnet (1ea).
The products were sold at Pak’n Save Rangiora, Christchurch and have not been exported. This recall does not affect any other made-in-store products.
Customers are asked to check the ‘Packed On’ and ‘Use By’ date marks on the products.
Affected products should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated illness. Those who have consumed this product and have any concerns about their health should seek medical advice.
Customers should return the products to the store for a full refund.
