Frucor opens new state of art facilities

Frucor has opened  its new $45m manufacturing facilities, which includes a high speed bottling line and high-tech distribution centre. The new facilities have created 20 new jobs at Frucor's Manukau plant and brings bottling back from Australia. The new line significantly increases production volumes to 400 bottles per minute while the distribution centre features a semi-automated racking system - the first of its kind in New Zealand. Frucor CEO Mark Callaghan announced at the official opening, which was attended by Prime Minister John Key, that building on a $6m R&D centre will commence mid September.
