Countdown has recalled the specific batches of its own brand, 5 Satay Flavoured Chicken Kebabs, due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (soy) as the Countdown brand 5 Honey Soy Chicken Kebabs have been incorrectly packaged as Countdown brand 5 Satay Flavoured Chicken Kebabs.
Customers that have purchased kebabs with the best-before date of 27/05/23 are encouraged to return the product where they purchased it for a full refund.
Those with a soy allergy should not consume this product. If the kebabs have been consumed and there are health concerns, individuals are encouraged to seek medical advice.
This recall does not affect those who are not allergic to soy.
