More Stores To Offer Fresh Produce

The Warehouse

After incredible customer feedback, The Warehouse continues its commitment to affordable groceries by introducing fresh produce into ten more stores, now at 22 across the country.

Takanini (Auckland), Hillcrest (Hamilton), Rotorua, Hastings, Gisborne, Palmerston North, Nelson, Northlands (Christchurch), Rangiora, and Rolleston are the newest stores to sell fresh produce, taking the total to 22. This represents almost a quarter of all The Warehouse stores.

Nick Grayston, CEO of The Warehouse Group, said that The Warehouse sees fruit and vegetables as an integral part of Warehouse's grocery essentials offerings to families nationwide.

“Adding another ten stores means that around a quarter of our stores now have fresh produce available for our customers at the same great value price in all 22 locations,” said Grayston.

“Our customers have told us they are unhappy with the current grocery options and want more from The Warehouse. The status quo isn’t delivering the value Kiwis need right now, so we’re working hard to expand our range in the places that matter most.”

The produce range is reviewed weekly based on seasonal availability, and currently, The Warehouse is selling carrots, onions, potatoes, apples, oranges, bananas, mandarins, capsicum, avocados, garlic, and tomatoes.

A seasonal range of fresh fruit and vegetables are now available at The Warehouse Waipapa, Whangārei, Westgate (Auckland), Manukau, Takanini (Auckland), Te Rapa, Hillcrest (Hamilton), Fraser Cove (Tauranga), Rotorua, Hastings, Gisborne, Palmerston North, Lyall Bay (Wellington), Nelson, Eastgate (Christchurch), Northlands (Christchurch), Rangiora, Rolleston, Riccarton, Timaru, Dunedin South, and Invercargill.
