The New Zealand King Salmon Co Ltd is recalling a specific batch of its Regal brand Epicurean Bourbon BBQ Salmon due to the product being labelled with an incorrect date mark.
The recalled product has the date market as the 1st of June 2025 and is sold in a 125g vacuum packet, sold in supermarkets and retail outlets throughout the North Island only.
Customers are encouraged and asked to check the date mark on the product.
The product date marking should have been 'Use by: 05 NOV 2023'. If customers have purchased this product, consume it by the fifth of November 2023, or they should return it to their retailer for a full refund.
Retailers of the product in this recall should download a copy of the point of sale notice and must display it in-store for one month.
