The team at Griffin’s has listened to New Zealanders nationwide and has brought back its beloved Candy Squiggles, joining the Hokey Pokey and Raspberry Jube Squiggles on shelves.
New Zealanders have been requesting this comeback ever since the product left supermarket shelves more than five years ago, with Griffin’s continuously receiving messages and social media comments from nostalgic Kiwis.
The Candy Squiggles biscuits, commonly called the ‘Pink and Green Squiggles’, comprise a chocolate-flavoured biscuit base topped with the delicious combination of chocolate-flavoured cream and crunchy candy nuggets covered in smooth milk chocolate.
Candy Squiggles was the first Squiggles flavour to be launched by Griffin’s in the 1980s, and Squiggles biscuits have been a favourite in Kiwi cupboards ever since.
Griffin’s brand manager Rachel Horrell said it’s great to give the people what they want, and what they want is Candy Squiggles.
“New Zealand spoke, and we listened. We’re thrilled to bring back a popular product that Kiwis have been craving.”
Griffin’s Candy Squiggles is now available in supermarkets nationwide.
