Van de Elzen, known for his role on television shows such as TVNZ’s Eat Well For Less, has worked closely with the brand since 2016 and has a Good From Scratch philosophy. His recip[es are developed to provide New Zealanders with tasty, healthy alternatives to their favourite dishes.

“Mike’s Good From Scratch philosophy really resonated with us as a company. It’s fantastic to see the Beef and Beetroot range become a family favourite with Kiwis, so we’re excited to be not only improving that recipe to get even more goodness into each bite but extending the range to help families try new flavours and broaden their recipe repertoire,” said Nick Carey, General Manager at Green Meadows Beef.

The new products boast half a cup of vegetables in each pack, are a good source of protein, and are gluten and preservative free.

“I’ve had lots of feedback from people over the years, saying they want to make healthier choices but don’t know where to start. This range of burgers and meatballs are a fantastic, easy option because not only are they packed with vegetables and grains, they’re delicious and don’t take any longer to cook than a standard burger,” said Van de Elzen.

The burgers and meatballs are available in-store and online.
