American Consumers Love Convenience Stores

A new survey has found that 77 percent of Americans like the experience of a convenience store. A total of 71 percent of adult consumers said they discover new brands, 38 percent said they shop twice or more a week, and 62 percent said they visit a convenience store at least once a week.

Shoppers are attracted to the stores because of their locations, the store's ability to meet immediate needs and the ability to conduct transactions on their way.

Candy, on-the-go drinks, milk, juice and other staples were among the industry’s most favourable products. A third of consumers also reported buying prepared food in-store, and 37 percent purchased lottery tickets.
