In a swift response to a critical packaging error, Patties Food Group has issued an urgent recall for a selection of On The Menu Entree products, widely distributed across popular Australian supermarket chains, including Coles, Woolworths, IGA, and independent retailers such as No Waste Australia.
The recall, initiated by FSANZ, has raised serious concerns about potential dangers associated with the packaging materials. There are genuine fears that the packaging could melt under cooking conditions, posing significant risks to consumers.
Despite the recall causing some anxiety, Patties Food Group reassured the public that the products are safe for consumption if the microwave cooking instructions are followed as stated on the packaging.
